WS 3.2 What Energy System to Power Cabo Verde's Future?

The workshop will be strategic in nature and will be focused on policy formulation. It will analyze the situation and explore Cabo Verde’s potential to transform the energy sector in the next decade. It will discuss, in particular, what it will take for Cabo Verde to gradually decrease its reliance on fossil fuels.

WS 3.3 Promoting Innovation and Creativity

The workshop session will examine the innovation and creativity, with a focus on the prospects for the future. Crucially, the workshop will take stock and propose ideas for the way forward. Specifically, the workshop will therefore focus on the following questions:
How to develop a national system to promote innovation and creativity?
How to develop complementarities between investigators, producers and the market?
What system to best finance innovation?

WS 3.1 What Educational System for the Future of Cabo Verde?

The workshop’s main goal will be to make a proposal to build a 21st century educational system for Cabo Verde. Challenges as well as the exploitation of potential opportunities will be addressed, in order to propose an agenda for the future and a reform package, to ensure an education system capable of adequately meeting the needs of quality and relevance. More specifically, the workshop will examine and provide answers to the following questions:
 
Which is the vision for the future of the educational and vocational training systems?

WS 2.6 The Aero-Business Cluster

The workshop session will examine the aero business cluster with a focus on the prospects for the future. Crucially, the workshop will take stock and also propose ideas for the way forward. Specifically, the workshop will focus on the following questions:
 
Where are we, what are the challenges and opportunities?
What are the cluster development priorities?
What is the best way to organize the cluster in order to create a competitive intercontinental aero-hub, to strengthen the competitiveness of Cabo Verde and to attract investment?
